To help demystify the digital world, and inspire social economy organisations with what’s possible, Business Lincolnshire have organised this event in collaboration with the Greater Lincolnshire Social Economy Academy (GLSEA)

Digital technology has the potential to transform many parts of the social economy, from the way organisations engage beneficiaries and deliver services, to fundraising and impact evaluation.

To help demystify the digital world, and inspire social economy organisations with what’s possible, Business Lincolnshire has organised this event in collaboration with the Greater Lincolnshire Social Economy Academy (GLSEA).

You’ll hear from organisations leading on digital adoption and innovation, with speakers and panel guests sharing their insights on what’s next for the social economy.

  • Simon Hawking, CEO of Acts Trust - how digital technology developed to meet Acts Trust’s own needs is being adopted by other social economy organisations.

  • Will De Ath, Co-Founder of Everfund - how modern nonprofits use technology and timeless principles to centralise fundraising efforts and unlock powerful efficiency at scale.

Plus, we’ll be joined by Kelly Evans of Social Change UK, Dan Clark of MindJam and Samantha Lindley of Threshold Studios to discuss how their own organisations “Innovate for Impact” in areas as diverse as support for young people, community engagement and impact evaluation.

The event will include Q&A sessions with both speakers and the panel along with an opportunity to network beforehand and over lunch.

There will be an optional facilitated session at 13:00 after lunch which will offer organisations enrolled in (or interested in joining) the GLSEA a discussion on themes emerging from the morning and further digital support available through Business Lincolnshire.
