LincolnHack 2024

LincolnHack returned last month with a resounding success!

After a hiatus due to COVID, LincolnHack returned in March and saw 40 attendees, a third of which came from out of Lincoln. They then split into 7 teams to take on a choice of 4 challenges, set by the challenge sponsors - Streets Heaver, Page Tiger, Epix Media and Rebel.

The event brought together participants from diverse backgrounds to collaborate and create innovative solutions to real-world problems. Hosted here and in partnership with Digital Lincoln, the hackathon provided an opportunity for individuals with varying skill sets, including developers, designers, and entrepreneurs, to work together in teams and showcase their talents.

Fueled by caffeine, camaraderie and Roco BBQ the teams brainstormed ideas, developed prototypes, and presented their projects to a panel of judges at the end of the 24 hours. Projects are evaluated based on criteria; such as creativity, technical complexity, tigers(!) and potential impact with bonus points for including Rob or Shaun in one challenge!

Massive, congratulations to all the winners; Net Reach, Stripes with Pride, Stripes and Stride and S.H.I.T - not forgetting the Junior Hacker, DJ who took away some goodies too!

The LincolnHack would not have been the success it was if it wasn't for the supporters too, Cooperpress, Laser Red, Recap and Willsuite.
