Ahead of our Mosaic event here at the Digital Hub, we're talking with David Regler, Digital Sector Growth Manager for Business Lincolnshire, who are sponsors of Mosaic Connects.

What is Mosaic Connects?

Mosaic Connects is a brand-new event aimed at bringing the digital sector together in Greater Lincolnshire.
Digital continues to be one of the fastest-growing sectors in Lincolnshire, so we are keen to create an event specifically for the sector.
We've partnered with Mosaic as the Digital Hub is a fantastic space in Lincoln and is recognised as a centre of excellence for the digital sector.

Who is the event aimed at?

It is open to everyone involved in the digital sector in Greater Lincolnshire, from freelancers and business leaders to people working within digital roles as well as students.

What can people expect?

As the name would suggest, Mosaic Connects is about just that - connecting.
We'll have some announcements and updates on what's happening within the sector, but essentially, it's about providing an opportunity for everyone to connect and collaborate.

Who is Business Lincolnshire?

Business Lincolnshire is set up to help Greater Lincolnshire based businesses start and grow. We provide funded support through a team of business experts and mentors, offering help and guidance, grants and finance for all businesses. 
We run support programmes specifically for scale-ups and high-growth businesses, which include many SMEs in the digital sector.

What is your role in the sector?

As the Digital Sector Growth Manager, my role is to support the wider digital and technology sector. That includes identifying opportunities and areas for support, promoting the importance of the sector within the county and also raising its profile at a regional and national level.
The digital sector is a key driver of growth and we want to enable every business within the sector to reach its full potential.

What's new in the sector?

The digital sector is fast moving and we are seeing a lot of future investment in supporting the growth of digital businesses, as well as helping more traditional sectors embrace digital technologies.
We'll be announcing new initiatives specifically for the sector at Mosaic Connects, so I can't say too much at this stage. However, there is an exciting programme of support and events being planned over the next 6 months, so watch this space.

When is Mosaic Connects?

Our first event is on Thursday 13th October 2022, from 6 pm, for a 6:30 pm start.

Following the very sad news of the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II, Mosaic and Business Lincolnshire took the decision to postpone Mosaic Connects from Thursday 15th September to Thursday 13th October. We hope you will still be able to join us.
